Suggestion: Please look after your property.

Please look after your own stuff. There have been a couple of times that we are aware of when items have been stolen from people visiting our monthly open stage event. Once a bike was taken from the hallway and once some instruments were stolen from outside the building. Neither the City of Kitchener who owns the community center, nor the Black Walnut open stage nor the Cedar Hills Community Group can ensure that personal property of guests of the Black Walnut Acoustic Open Stage will not be stolen. In almost twenty-five years, we are aware of only two thefts being reported. We do try to keep an eye out for anything that we find in the hall where the performance is presented.
